And I was not disappointed. Once again, Skelly has opened a door into the town of Rock Falls, Delaware, and invited her readers to experience another branch of the Wolfe pack. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Brenda -- Brilliant next edition : Though I haven't read any other werewolf stories to compare, I'm still in awe at the way AJ combines the wolf inside each character (their wants, behaviors, and instincts) in a cool dual way. This story is about Kyp and Rachel, which is very cleverly told. It's about their budding relationship and all the insecurities of new love, with past hurts/rejections affecting things along with throwing in the jealousy on both sides of Wolfe pack, is very well done. The story was excellently crafted, and kept building. But as I kept reading, and getting close to the end, I wasn't quite sure how it would resolve itself. And then there was a revelation revealed in a super brilliant way. I highly recommend this book! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2021 )

I loved being able to go back to Rock Falls through a different perspective with Kyp and Rachel. Their story is a full of ups and downs and so much intrigue! I also loved that Sam and Meg were still included in this book and that we got to see how they were progressing even though the book isn’t centered around them! - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Lacey Scott -- AJ’s did it again! : I’ve got to say, I generally don’t like YA or shifter type werewolf books and yet I was instantly hooked on First Shift. The characters are easy to relate to and the story is so compelling that I had no problem diving right in and bingeing Rogue Shift! Rogue Shift starts where First Shift left off only you’re now following a different set of characters, Kyp and Rachel. I instantly fell in love with both of them and I have to say I may like this one even more than I did First Shift (which I didn’t think was possible)! If you’re looking for a romantic paranormal fantasy without any explicit content but all the feels, then look no further! ( Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021 )

Continuing in the world of The Wolves of Rock Falls, the central romance is about characters we briefly met back in First Shift and their story touches on so many important issues that author AJ Skelly handles in an honest, truthful way. Rogue Shift is an exciting, clean paranormal romance with all the drama and action you'd expect from a few feuding packs of werewolves, but this is also a story full of heartfelt relationships and the hard work it takes to keep them.
